HIGH FAT DIET (HFD)

Harbison High Fat Diet (HFD) is a low starch, oat free, high fibre and high fat pellet designed to meet the nutritional needs of horses in hard work.

ENERGY

Provides the extra energy needed for serious competition horses or racehorses.

HIGH FIBRE

Low starch/high fibre feed designed to stimulate hind-gut activity and reduces the incidence of ulcers.

COOL FORM

High fat content provides horses with a "cool" form of energy.

VITAMINS

High level of anti-oxidants, vitamin E and selenium.

CHROMIUM

Contains added chromium to assist with the metabolism of glucose.

MINERALS

Contains added trace minerals and vitamins.

ELECTROLYTES

Contains added electrolytes (25gm/kg) to replace sweat loss in working horses.

AZOTURIA

Excellent for horses that "tie-up" (azoturia).

ALL IN ONE

Designed as an "all in one" pellet to simplify good feeding practice economically.

FEEDING GUIDE

Hard work

Hard Work feed 3kg to 5kg per day for 450kg horses in hard work, in conjunction with a minimum of 2% body weight in good quality hay or pasture.
